Shrewsbury Morris will Present Beat & Bells 2022 on Saturday July 2nd, 10am to 4pm in The Square, Shrewsbury

Shrewsbury Morris are delighted to once again be presenting one of their free celebratory Beat & Bells events in The Square, Shrewsbury on Saturday 2nd July.

There will be continuous entertainment throughout the day, with a host of performances to delight families, local residents and those from further afield.
Shrewsbury Morris will be entertaining everyone with their lively dancing and toe tapping music.

This will include the stick clashing Shrewsbury Bull and Pump Morris Men, the colourful dresses of The Shrewsbury Lasses and the intricate footwork of The Shrewsbury Cloggers. Septimus the Giant Shrewsbury Cobbler will be in attendance along with some other very special guests including Clerical Error from North Wales.

Watch out for their spectacular Border Morris Dancing with attitude. Other guests include the talented Identity School of Dance. Shrewsbury Morris first saw these amazing young people last year and immediately snapped them up for Beat & Bells 2022.

And there is more too! Thingumajig Theatre, from West Yorkshire, are bringing Charles and Amelia, two relics of a bygone age, who just happen to be a pair of dancing dodos.

Shrewsbury Morris brings this free day of dance, music, colour and more to the delightful setting of The Square in Shrewsbury. Do join them on Saturday 2nd July.
