Renowned plant-based chef and author to co-host yoga and food workshop at Shrewsbury yoga studio

Evening of food and yoga comes to Shrewsbury in celebration of ‘Veganuary’

Plant-based author, award-winning blogger and creator of Rebel Recipes, Niki Webster, will be bringing her culinary expertise to a workshop at a yoga studio in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, in celebration of ‘Veganuary’. 

The renowned vegan chef, who has just published her fourth book, Rainbow Bowls, and shares her vibrant dishes with her large following on social media, will be teaming up with Jenna Blair, a Shropshire-based yoga teacher at a studio located in Belle Vue, Shrewsbury. 

Together the duo will be fusing together their passions for an evening of vegan food and yoga to inspire locals.

 Rebel Recipe’s Niki Webster said: “I have always loved cooking and eating food that makes me feel great; mainly light, natural, plant-based, and organic where possible. This passion is where my blog and eventually my books grew from. I’m really excited to share some of my delicious plant-based recipes at this event and show people the wonderful range of simple plant-based dishes you can enjoy without ever feeling like you are missing out. I hope to encourage others to give plant-based food a go, especially during Veganuary.” 

Yoga studio owner, Jenna Blair, who will be guiding a gentle yoga practice during the evening said: “We’re thrilled to have Niki join us for an evening of yoga and food. Niki’s passion for plant-based food has been a great inspiration for me so I’m delighted she will be part of this nourishing evening! 

“We wanted to host this session during January – or veganuary – to celebrate and perhaps inspire locals to give vegan food and yoga a go, both of which can be really beneficial for our wellbeing as we head into 2022.” 

The ‘Yoga and Supper’ event takes place at 7pm on Wednesday 26 January at Jenna Blair Yoga. Tickets cost £40 and will also include a copy of Niki’s most recently published book, Rainbow Bowls, with recipes showcasing the power of fruit and vegetables:
