Shrewsbury Hearing: Specialists in the Heart of Town
17 Oct 2023

The Shrewsbury Hearing clinic offers access to a range of hearing care specialists - housed within Shrewsbury Optometry - right in the heart of town. The independent, family-owned business is passionate about helping people of all ages who are suffering with hearing issues - from the very mild cases to the most severe and profound hearing impairments.

The business opened in December 2022 and offers a range of hearing care services including ear cleaning, hearing assessments, tinnitus support and a bespoke hearing aid service.

Leading the team is highly experienced, qualified and accredited Audiologist Adrian Dowling, who is knowledgeable in all aspects of audiometry and prides himself on delivering high quality, independent hearing care.

He joined his family practice in 1987 and is now the owner and Director of Shrewsbury Hearing. You might also have seen him out on a bike, as he’s a keen cyclist and has also served as a school governor for over a decade with a special interest in autism.

Team Leader Adrian at Shrewsbury Hearing

We ask what sets Shrewsbury Hearing apart from competitors: “We offer free trials of the latest hearing aid technology and you’ll only purchase the hearing aids you’ve decided which solution is best for you,” Adrian explains. “Interest free easy payment terms are also available. We offer unbiased advice and tailor every service to your individual needs with excellent customer service.

“All services are carried out in our clinic environment with Shrewsbury Optometry, using the very latest hearing care equipment and world-leading brands and we have access to a full range of the latest hearing technology.

“As a small business we buy directly from hearing aid manufacturers, meaning we can often offer more competitive prices than the national brands.”

The most popular services currently available at Shrewsbury Hearing are bespoke hearing aid services and ear wax removal. Home visits are also available in the Shrewsbury area.

When should people seek advice from Shrewsbury Hearing?
“Whenever they feel as if they have hearing issues as the earlier this is detected the better,” Adrian suggests.
