Tickets are now on sale for the UK Pro League Finals Week at The Shrewsbury Club, featuring world-class tennis from Monday 8th - Sunday 14th November.
The winners will take the UK Pro League title from last year’s victors Emma Raducanu and Liam Broady, with the winners of the men’s and women’s competitions each receiving £15,000. Camera crews are setting up to broadcast the event on BT Sport, the Tennis Channel, and UKPL TV.
Tickets are in high demand with only a few seats left for the finals day on Sunday the 14th, and some of the hospitality packages are already completely sold out.
Competitors next week include James Ward, who helped Team GB win the Davis Cup alongside Andy Murray in 2015, Katie Swan who has won some main draw matches at Wimbledon and been a regular in the GB Fed Cup team, and Eden Silva and Jay Clarke who have been Wimbledon semi-finalists in the doubles together. The event expects to host numerous British players who are on the cusp of breaking through into the top 200 world rankings.
Dave Courteen, The Shrewsbury Club’s managing director, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for local tennis fans to watch some of the leading British professional tennis players in action from court-side stands.”
Organisers promise an incredible festival-style week of tennis combined with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Admission prices for the weekdays are £5 each day, whilst it’s £7.50 for the semi-finals on Saturday and finals on Sunday. All tickets include a 20-page tournament programme.
