Shropshire County Agricultural Show
May 27th, West Mid Showground
To kick off the Half term we have the Shropshire County Agricultural show returning to the West Mid Showground on May 27th. Featuring live music, livestock showcases, youth activities and Britain’s Got Talent stars the Bolddog Lings motorcycle display team who form the big attraction in the main ring. Book Tickets Here
All week, Park Hall Farm, nr Oswestry
The farm experience at Park Hall Farm and countryside experience near Oswestry will have a prehistoric twist with its Jurassic week for half term. For this week only there will be dinosaur themed activities including fossil digging and daily dinosaur races. Book Here
Life Beneath Your Feet
June 1st, The Cut Visitor Centre, 10.30am - 3.30pm
Feel the ‘Life Beneath Your Feet' at The Cut Visitor Centre (Shropshire Wildlife Trust) opposite Shrewsbury Abbey in Abbey Foregate. Kids will love learning about the fascinating world under their feet - what lives in the soil and the impact it has on our lives. FREE activity (suggested donation £2).
Super Mario Movie
The Old Market Hall, May 27th - June 1st.

Open Day at The Hive
Friday, June 2nd, 10am to 2pm
A family-friendly activity day at The Hive on Belmont with fun, creative activities including: printmaking, Taiko drumming, face painting, Djembe drumming, sun printing, a podcasting workshop and a chill out zone. Activities will be delivered by Hive alumni or one of the Hive's creative artists. The day aims to celebrate the charity's value and positive impact on the community.
Shrewsbury Duck Hunt
All week from May 27th
Join the Shrewsbury duck hunt! Twenty branded ducks will be hidden throughout Shrewsbury town centre with the hunt beginning at 9.30am Saturday, May 27th and finishing on Saturday, June 3rd at 4.30pm. How many will you find? This is the third annual event of its kind. Find an entry form HERE

Shrewsbury Museum and Art Gallery, May 30th, 11am - 2pm
Free drop-in family activities with a pre-history theme. Work like an archaeologist, hunt for treasure using metal detectors, handle ancient artefacts and explore pattern-making using printing techniques. Great family fun for all and no need to book!
Kids go free in the Flaxmill Exhibition
All week at Shrewsbury Flaxmill Maltings, Spring Gardens, SY1 2SZ
Kids can go free into The Mill Exhibition at the Flaxmill Maltings this half term and enjoy free activities on the site. There are activity trails from May 27th to June 4th every day from 10am to 5pm, to learn more about this historic site and the awesome iron-framed structure of the Flaxmill.
Then there's 'Brilliant Buildings' (May 29th - June 2nd, 11am to 3pm) - workshops where kids can make their own mini buildings using recycled materials, inspired by their favourite building on the Flaxmill site (ages 5-11, free family drop in).
And Jake Evans storytelling on May 30th at 3pm - a free storytelling session with this popular professional storyteller. Learn about the Dragon on the Hill, the old nickname for the main mill. (ages 6-12), admission free and no booking required.
Quarry Splash Park open for Summer
