Life in the Scottish Hebrides is harsh. For Kirsty, her love for Murdo and their dreams of America promise escape from the land. But the Great War changes all when Murdo is sent to join the army. The night before the young men head to battle, tragedy strikes for Kirsty whilst the villagers enjoy a ‘Road Dance’. Based on the acclaimed novel by John MacKay.
