Zervas and Pepper are singer/songwriters that have been crafting songs and capturing imaginations with their previous critically acclaimed albums 'Lifebringer' and 'Abstract Heart'.
They return to Shrewsbury with 'This Flight Tonight' The Songs of Joni Mitchell on Friday, November 3 in Shrewsbury Abbey on stage at 8pm. Tickets are £20. Featuring songs ‘California’, ‘Blue’, ‘Woodstock’ ‘Both Sides Now’, ‘Coyote’, ‘Big Yellow Taxi’, ‘A Case Of You’.
UK singer/songwriters Zervas & Pepper present what they consider to be the nucleus of Mitchell’s work, that pivotal break-out period 1968-1976 with the voice, guitar and piano front and centre. An intimate evening that should feel like the audience is having a private listening session at Joni’s house in Laurel Canyon during the summer of love.
Live in the House is a small dedicated team with a passion for live performance. Over the last 10 years, they have hosted more than 350 shows to over 25,000 music and comedy lovers at historic and iconic venues in and around Shropshire.
It began with a sell out show by the Ivor Novello award winning Scott Matthews at the 15C Henry Tudor House in Shrewsbury. Now working with the staff and volunteers of such organisations as the Churches Conservation Trust and being entrusted with such special spaces as Shrewsbury Abbey, the Live in the House team continue to explore great shows in great places.
